UK SOLAR PARKS

One of the earliest movers in UK Solar Renewables, Axiom originated, developed and operated 30% of the UK’s solar parks under the highest rate of first-round Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) subsidies, subsequently refinancing and selling the assets to Institutional Investors.

Axiom developed multiple large scale solar parks across the South and East Midlands, including a 100 acre site in the Green Belt which became the UK’s first subsidy-free solar park.

These projects involved extensive stakeholder negotiations, planning and infrastructure delivery to connect into the electrical grid. Early projects were acquired by institutional investors as operational assets and latterly projects were sold as shovel ready projects.
